Functional characteristics SRPPZ-2000

Modes of warning

Mode 1 - warning about exceeding of the established limits of barometrical lowering speed.

Mode 2 - warning about exceeding of the established limits of ground approximation speed.

Mode 3 - warning about excessive loose of altitude by aircraft during takeoff or while going to the second round.

Mode 4 - warning about insufficient reserve of altitude over underlying surface, when aircraft is not in landing configuration.

Mode 5 - warning about inadmissible deviation of aircraft lower than approach descent.

Mode 6 - warning about inadmissible discrepancy between relative barometrical altitude and veritable altitude of aircraft, during the attempt to land by pressure (QFE).

Mode 7 - warning about lowering of aircraft to decision altitude (DA) or to altitude 150 m over underlying surface (runway threshold).

Mode 8 - warning about lowering of aircraft to predetermined altitudes (altitude counting).

mode 9 - warning about reaching the extreme meaning of angle of roll.

Mode TAW - Terrain Awareness and Warning (TAW) function: warning about presence of dangerous elements of relief of earth surface or artificial obstacles in flight direction of aircraft.

Mode TCF - Terrain Clearance Floor (TCF) function: warning about premature lowering of aircraft during the flight in airport area and on landing attempt.

System control options

Warning modes control:

- Prohibition of flap position analysis. During the effect of the prohibition the system will use the default value of the parameter "Position of flaps" equal to "Landing" for analysis of criteria of signalization actuation.

- Signalization prohibition in modes EWAE and WRA.

Signaling control:

- Suppression of voice signalization in Mode 5 "Glide slope". Will be restored automatically as the airplane enters the area of hard signalization or on full exit from area of Mode 5 signalization actuation.

- Suppression of voice signalization in any mode. Will be restored automatically as the airplane enters to area of another Mode signalization or on full exit from area of actuation of that Mode, which signalization was depressed.

Graphical information output

"Relative Altitudes" mode

Graphical information is output in this Mode, if in range of mapping, which corresponds to scale selected by pilot, is available at least one element of underlying surface, over which the excess of airplane is less than 600m. In Relative Altitudes Mode the image of longitudinal side view of underlying surface can be formed.

"Absolute Altitudes" Mode

Graphical information is output in this mode, if there is no elements of underlying surface or artificial obstacles in range of mapping, which corresponds to scale selected by pilot, over which the excess of airplane is less than 600m.
